In Loving Memory...

It is with great sadness that I had to say goodbye to him. He had a tumor and his medical condition was so severe that nothing could be done except taking away his pain. I never thought that he was going to go away so soon. I just wanted to share this news in my blog since many of you know him as my "inspiration" for my Whimsical Cats Collection.

The love in one's heart does not change, but the hardest thing is to not be able to share it anymore. It's so important to make each moment count and share that love today with family, friends and all of our loved ones, despite of how busy we are.

The idea that a time might come where this opportunity will not be there anymore is for me too painful to bear, no matter how strong the faith that they will be in a better place. So it's best to concentrate on the present, on all the joys we have, and live our lives to the fullest of its potential so that there will be no regreat when looking back.

Oh, what a beautiful baby! I am so sorry for your loss. These little critters are so special. Their love is unconditional. I lost my best buddy a few months ago (blogged about here: http://doreenwilley.blogspot.com/2009/01/today-i-lost-my-best-friend.html). I miss him so much. Just take comfort in knowing that he won't have to suffer anymore. He will always remain in your heart. I'm sure he had a wonderful life with you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty! It's so hard to lose a pet. I had to put my kitty of 15 years down a while back due to organ failure.

Take comfort he is no longer in pain and rest assured he knew how much you loved him.

I am so sorry for your news, we had to say goodbye to our lovely black cat Ebony last summer, she had a tumour too, I didn't realise how upset I would be.
Good news though, we have adopted a ginger cat called Geri, she was a stray, and now she has a new home, she has settled in really well, there is a picture of her on my blog.

Dear Benedetta,

I had to let you know how sad I am for you. I cried over him, too. We know the anguish to come when we have pets, but still we must have them. All we can do is give them all the love possible, knowing their little lives are only briefly in ours. You're in my thoughts.

AHH, he is so gorgeous. I feel your pain. I cried for 3 days whenever I thought of Felix (we watched him die, so that was a huge emotional thing) If I would have known he was going to suffer I would have had him put down, but he died on a Sunday.

Sorry for your loss. Now, go get another kitty to love in his memory, that will help! :) I have one if you want. He is cute, found him last night (He is on my rescue blog) heehee

I'm so sorry. We had to put our cat to sleep almost 2 years ago and I still miss her. She was almost 14 but her health began to suffer. Wishing you comfort during this time.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's nice to find another animal lover. Find comfort in knowing you gave him a wondeful loving family full of life and love. I know it is never easy to say goodbye. All us animal lovers have to do it. It's losing a family member
